SysValue is a Portuguese company of 100% national capital and puts its skills into action with the aim of being recognized by the market as a company specialized in “security and reliability,” in the full sense of the terms and in the various fields of information technology:

  • Datacenter
  • Cabling
  • Data networks
  • Voice networks
  • Servers
  • Data storage
  • Safeguarding and retrieving information
  • Business and support applications

Our staff consists of professionals with many years of experience in the area of information security and reliability and who have always worked in companies where it was considered a business priority. These skilled and certified resources in products and technologies present themselves as promoters of ideas, architects and solutions integrators. Some of them are also authors of several articles and presentations related to this theme.

International Organization for Standardization

Having two Certified ISO 27001:2005 Lead Auditors in SysValue’s workforce ensures the excellence of service in assessing and consulting in every topic of the conformity of the Information Security Management Systems with the Standard Norm in the marketplace.

The existence of a GIAC Systems and Network Auditor (GSNA) and a GIAC Certified Penetration Tester (GPEN) in SysValue’s team ensures the excellence of service in security auditing services. The SANS Institute founded GIAC (Global Information Assurance Certification) in 1999, seeking to address the need that companies and other organizations had to validate, safely and independently, the skills of IT security professionals. The purpose of the GIAC certifications is to assure that a particular individual has a solid level of expertise in key areas in the field of information security.

The GPEN certification is for security personnel whose job duties involve assessing target networks and systems to find security vulnerabilities. Certification objectives include penetration-testing methodologies, the legal issues surrounding penetration testing and how to properly conduct a penetration test as well as best practice technical and non-technical techniques specific to conduct a penetration test

SysValue has one (1) GPEN aboard.

SysValue’s staff also includes a Certified Data Management Professional (by the Data Management Institute), systematically involved in projects where the protection, preservation and continuous availability of information is the main focus.

International Standard for Information Security

Having two Certified Information Systems Security Professionals (CISSPs – ISC2) among SysValue’s workforce ensures the excellence of service in security consulting, business continuity and reliability. The title Certified Information Systems Security Professional™ is a worldwide reference in the accreditation of computer security professionals. SysValue holds two professionals on staff with such certification and is currently preparing the certification of two others. The title CISSP™ is not a technical certification, based on mastery of one specific technology, but rather a testament to the ability of such professionals to bring cross-technology skills to contexts where the issue of computer security is a manifest necessity.

The CISM certification (Certified Information Security Manager) by ISACA is uniquely focused in information security management. Differently from other certifications, it recognises individuals who manage design, oversees and assesses an enterprise’s information security. One of its cornerstones is the definition of a competence core and international standards, both globally recognised, that should characterise professionals with responsibilities in information security as a managerial discipline aligned with processes and global objectives of an organisation.

SysValue has two (2) CISMs aboard.

The CISA designation, from ISACA (www.isaca.org) is a globally recognized certification for IS audit control, assurance and security professionals. Being CISA-certified showcases an individual’s audit experience, skills and knowledge, and demonstrates his capability to manage vulnerabilities, ensure compliance and institute controls within an enterprise.

SysValue has three (3) CISAs aboard.
